There was a buzz in the air prior to boarding the Turks and Caicos Explorer II this week. Many of the guests were returning to the Silver Bank from previous years and once boarded, injected the atmosphere with excitement and curiosity.
This week on the bank we had an abundance of mother and calves in the area and as the humpback whale season progresses, it’s inevitable that the calves grow to be inquisitive and begin to test boundaries.
It was another amazing week on the Silver Bank. The ten-hour crossing was an enjoyable, smooth sail and all were looking forward to being on the bank when the moon was at its fullest this month.
