There is something about the curiosity of humpback whales that connects with people on a deeper level. Standing out on the back deck of the Turks & Caicos Explorer II on the morning we arrived, we all watched and took pictures as two humpback whales circled the 127-foot boat.
Guests reported hearing the whales “chirping” and chatting with each other, not quite a song but some type of communication between the two. They swam in and out of view, returned, rested beneath, and danced.
Unbelievable Encounters, Unbelievable Weather
It’s week one on the Silver Bank. The Turks and Caicos Explorer II has been updated and looks fantastic sitting at the Ocean World Marina dock awaiting its passengers.
It was an unbelievable week on the Silver Bank! The Turks & Caicos Explorer II had plenty of activity this week as the charter was fully booked by a group that enjoyed a ritual of yoga/meditation every morning and a dance party on the sun deck in the evening for happy hour.
…the group watched as the snout of an adult humpback slowly raised above the surface, turned and slowly lowered back down while the fluke of the other followed suit.
